RETURN / WARRANTY POLICY
All of our products come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty that covers mechanical parts and labor. Warranty does not cover the following parts: steam plate, measuring cup, rice scooper, cover packing, inner pots, inner lids, drain dish and removable cover lids.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before proceeding with your order.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. Cuckoo Australia will arrange to have the damaged goods returned to our service centre and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
For parts orders, shipping fee is not refundable. Shipping cost returning to our warehouse shall be borne by the customer.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
You may also contact or attend at our Melbourne Office/Warehouse where you collected your goods and a Cuckoo Australia staff member will assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.
Goods must be returned within a reasonable time. This time frame may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.
Customer is responsible to bring the product to our service centre. Customer bears the cost of shipping to our service centre. This applies to any repairs within the warranty period.
Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
